Do you think Starbuck's puts something in its coffee to make it addictive?!

Question: I'm not talking about caffeine. Do you think they put some kind of addictive secret additives? I go there way too much.

Fight the urge! Do you have a local roastery or another coffee shop in the vacinity? I try to patronize those, too, just to diminish the monopoly effect. They do have good coffee, though, I think the only addictive part is the caffeine. And good marketing.

i think their coffee's just really good

its called caffeine. thats all need. not to mention people are too lazy to make their own and they think its fashionable to go to starbucks. making their own might save the environment.

Nope.
You are just liking it, and want to drink more and more!!

there are no secret additives. its simply the taste which makes one and all go after starbucks!

Yeah, water.

no....

its just really good!!

= )

The secret additive is...
(wait for it.)
Clever marketing and advertising.
Resistance is futile

No, it's because it's so dang good. :)

I am not a fan of Starbucks, here in Canada next to the Tim Hortons chain there is one on every other street corner, I would like to say if they did add somehting like the tobacco companys did, the FDA would nail them to the wall, there coffees are tasted by independent labs for any thing suspect, like all food product, you may not know who the inspectors are when the come in.

Like the Health Dept on sanitary issues, do not think that there is a conspiracy to bend your mind through the drinking of coffee, if they did the entire water system would have been tainted by now.
