Hi,

The rule of thumb is 7.25 grams for 5 ounce of water.

To make a good cup of coffee, pack the ground tight so that your drip infused it thoroughly. Then use real hot water of between 95 to 98 degree celsius.

This should get you good coffee from drip coffee maker.

I use one heaping tablespoon per cup of coffee. It comes out perfect!

I use three heaping tablespoons of coffee for a 10 cup drip coffee maker and it comes out perfect.

3 table spoons :)

1 Std coffee measure 1/8th cup per 6 oz cup of water.

The general rule is 1 tablespoon to 6oz water.
Add more or less to taste.

Personally, I use 2 tablespoons because I like my coffee stronger.
