It is only if you're very small, or if you're drinking other fluids - milk, juice, etc. Diuretics like coffee, soda, beer, etc don't count.

Otherwise, if you're normal size, I think 32 oz. is the minimum recommended amount.

6 glass of water

You are technically suppose to consume 64 ounces of water a day, which is roughly 3 bottles of water.

8 glasses a day is reccommended.

Only if you weigh about 40 pounds. Though it seems for ever people have said to drink about 64 oz of water a day, I have recently heard that you should drink half your body weight in ounces (i.e. you weigh 110 lbs, you should drink 55 ozs of water). I have also read that it good enough to consume any liquids (other than those with caffeine) to total your total amount of water ounces.

you should drink 8-10 glasses of water per day which averages out to be 64-80 ounces daily, and that does not include other fluids that you may drink. For every cup of tea or coffee or any drink with caffeine, you should drink that much water to replace what will be lost to the diuretic of the caffeine

You should drink 2 Litres of water a day.

that's around 70 onces.

You need equivalent of 6 to 8 glasses of fluid every day to stop getting dehydrated, most of wich will come from food.

8, 8oz glasses a day

You should drink 8 8-oz glasses of water everyday. Anything you drink can count for that except for coffee, alcohol and carbonation.

Originally, it was recommended that you drink 8-8 oz glasses (1/2 gal) of water a day. However, within the past year and a half, the daily recommendation has changed to "If you feel thirsty, you should take a drink." My arguement is that if you feel thirsty, chances are that you are already dehydrated, or at least starting. A good way to check for proper water consumption is to check your urine: if it is clear, then you are properly hydrated.
