I've been drinking a lot of Japanese green tea lately. Why is it good for me?!
Answers: I've heard it is. I usually drink a lot of coffee, but lately I've switched to green tea, no sugar, of course. How does the caffeine compare to that of coffee?
caffeine in tea they have said is quite a bit more mild, however recent studies have found that theyre about the same since coffee has a milder caffeine content now. however green tea is MUCH better for you it has magnesium, protein, vitamins a;c;e;b and d in it, and EGCG (Epigallocatechin Gallate) There have been a number of laboratory studies that have shown that green tea may have an effect on inflammatory conditions like arthritis, on cognitive problems like Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases, Some studies have suggested that people who consume more tea have a lower risk of bone fracture, that is it may reduce osteoporosis, and there have been a number of studies particularly from the U.K. that suggest that adolescents and teenagers who drink tea have a lower instance of dental cavities. But the strongest reports to date are those that suggest that tea may reduce our risk of heart disease.
