Which type of tea has the highest caffeine level in it? I prefer tea to coffee, but I need the caffeine!?!

Black tea has the highest amount of caffeine. Back when I was in college and pulling all-nighters, I'd sometimes brew more than one teabag at a time in a cup.

I like Earl Grey black tea with a splash of milk or half-and-half first thing in the morning. It's nice and strong.

Ummm herbal tea is not really tea so I am not going to include it.
