I would avoid anything that is sweet because it could leave a sticky film in your mouth and throat that could affect your singing. If it's sweetened iced tea - avoid it. If it's unsweetened, it might be okay. But water is really best before an audition.

Break a leg!

Also... just FYI don't gargle with any mouthwash that contains alcohol before your audition. It will dry you out - especially if you are prone to dry mouth when you're nervous.

I've actually heard that warm tea is best because it helps your throat muscles relax. Lacking that, I'd drink the warmest or most room-temperature offering.

yah just avoid dairy and Apple Juice can have you on the chase just like Cranberry juice.

Yeah, stay away from milk definitely. I stick to water myself.

NO JUICES... THE ACIDITY MAY DRY YOU OUT OR CAUSE HEARTBURN....
HOT TEA WITH HONEY ONLY!!!!

Warm, unsweat tea is probably the best. Or water with lemon. Warm tea coats your throat without adding all the sugar build up. Good luck!

Unsweetened ice tea with lemon would be great. Avoid apple juice. It has too much sugar, which coats your throat.

Iced tea can leave your mouth dry just like coffee can. Apple juice can leave your mouth slightly sticky, so try warm tea herbal tea with honey. Bring a thermos if you have one. If you don't, just stick to water.
Good luck
