Soft Drinks or Milk?!

Question: Milk
Its more good for health

Answers: Milk
Its more good for health

soft drinks...........

Definitely Milk is the right choice. Soft drink can give u happiness for 2 to 3 minutes. But it is injurious to health. So go for milk.

soft drinks...........

12 oz of milk and 12 oz of soft drink have roughly the same number of calories. Milk has nutrients, soda pop doesn't. You figure it out.

Skim milk has way less calories than soda pop, and it still has nutrients!!

Milk gives you a lot more bang for your buck. :)

Best of luck.

I gave up soft drinks over 2 years ago and haven't missed them one bit. I love skim milk, third favorite. Behind iced tea and ice water.

Milk-is an opaque white liquid produced by the mammary glands of female mammals (including monotremes). Mammary glands are highly specialized sweat glands. The female ability to produce milk is one of the defining characteristics of mammals. It provides the primary source of nutrition for newborns before they are able to digest other types of food. The early lactation milk is known as colostrum, and carries the mother's antibodies to the baby. It can reduce the risk of many diseases in the baby. Males of all mammal species retain the breasts that are part of the fundamental mammalian animal structure, hence their nipples. Lactation occurs in males in certain rare circumstances, both naturally and artificially, however, some pharmaceuticals precipitate lactation in males readily. The exact components of raw milk varies by species, but it contains significant amounts of saturated fat, protein and calcium as well as vitamin C.

whereas

Soft Drinks-The term soft drink (more commonly known as soda, pop, soda pop, fizzy drinks, sometimes called mineralsI) refers to drinks, often carbonated, that do not contain alcohol. The name "soft drink" specifies a lack of alcohol by way of contrast to the term "hard drink" and the term "drink", the latter of which is nominally neutral but often carries connotations of alcoholic content. Beverages like colas, sparkling water, iced tea, lemonade, squash, and fruit punch are among the most common types of soft drinks, while hot chocolate, hot tea, coffee, milk, tap water, alcohol, and milkshakes do not fall into this classification.

now,

Note:Having an occasional soft drink on a hot and exhausting day won't harm anyone, but it has to stay at that -- an occasional indulgence. Soft drinks quench thirst (which milk will do as well), but they should be recognised as liquid sweets. They have calories in the form of sugar, and no proteins or fats. Each bottle contains about 125 calories, and children who have several a day are likely to be overweight.
Harmful Content
Most cola drinks contain 30-40 mg of caffeine. While this is not a dangerous amount for adults, it is significant for children. Caffeine promotes the passage of large amounts of urine, and can sometimes cause dehydration. It also has a stimulant action, making it difficult to sleep. A child who is habituated to it needs it regularly -- a break can lead to headaches and other effects.
Other dangerous substances are the food colors used in different drinks. Some of them are suspected of being carcinogenic. Sulphites, used as preservatives, can be a trigger for asthma. Fructose used in soft drinks can trigger off the irritable bowel syndrome, which is a troublesome, painful intestinal condition.
Soft Drinks, Soft Bones?
Soft drinks contain large amounts of phosphates, which cause calcium to be removed from bones. Osteoporosis is a theoretical risk, though not proven yet.
A disturbing fact is that soft drink consumption reduces the intake of healthier beverages like milk and juices. This is especially important for adolescent girls, who usually do not take the recommended calcium intake. This can reduce the bone mass achieved during this critical period, and may lead to osteoporosis and its complications later on.
