Tea question?!
Answers: I have heard great things about white tea. (gree tea also). I would like to start drinking it daily, but was wondering if it is dehydrating the same way coffee is?
green tea and white tea both hydrate you and are great for busting cellulite.
No, because there's less caffiene. Drink up! :)
It's healthy, don't worry.
nope

Tea is less dehydrating than coffee because of the lower caffeine amount. White tea is especially lower in caffeine. The caffeine effect you get from tea is more steady than coffee. Caffeine is the ingredient that would make coffee dehydrating.
White tea has many benefits that would make it a wise daily drink.
It has caffeine like coffee, an is dehydrating. But since the caffeine is lower the amount of dehydrating is lower. Anything with caffeine is dehydrating, it is determined by the amount of caffeine.
I've heard for years that the caffeine in coffee and tea will dehydrate you, but there is some new research that says that's a myth. You can see one of the articles on that report at http://www.ific.org/foodinsight/2002/ja/...
If you're still concerned about caffeine as a diuretic, though, I'd stay away from white tea (something I love, by the way), because it does contain caffeine, although not as much as many other teas and coffees.
Usually white tea has no caffeine in it, so it will not dehydrate you.
Most green teas do have caffeine, but not as near as much as a cup of coffee.
Caffeine is what causes the dehydration.
