Looking for an exciting but NON ALCOHOLIC drink for my two kids aged 9/11 for Xmas?!
Answers: Buy some schloer, it looks just like wine so they can pretend if you give it to them in wine glasses & it tastes pretty groovy too
sparkling cidar with no alcohol
shleor! white grape flavour. put it in wine glasses they'll think its alcohol buts sparkilng grape juice n niiiiiiiice
Get them some non-alcoholic sparkling wine, or sparkling grape juice. It tends to be in wine style bottles and makes them feel special.
You can make non alchoholic cocktails.

My parents used to get us non-alcoholic Champange so we felt like we were having the same as them you see. And its really really nice.. You can get it in your local Supermarket i would have thought..!!
Just to add, it dosen't taste anything like Champers, its got fruity taste to it, but you pick your flavours.. Its Yummy..!!
Orange juice with a slug of cranberry juice topped up with fizzy water. It is a lovely colour and tastes great. Add cocktail umbrellas and other bits to jazz it up
Ice Cream Soda, Cream Soda and Rasberry Ripple Ice Cream, its fizzy yet creamy and you let the kids make it themselves ie drop the ice cream in and watch it fizz, its quite fun!
Also it takes a while to drink so it has a habit of keeping kids quiet for a while :)
I guess it depends on what you are drinking b/c they will probably want what you are having. If you are drinking wine, chill & open a bottle of white grape juice (they sale it in a wine bottle for the holidays) and serve that.
I remember having that at that age and thinking I was getting something special. Serve it in wine glasses.
get some schloer grape juice (green/red) looks nice and tastes even nicer :)
I would definitely go for non alcoholic cocktails, kids love them and think they're just like the grown ups. As well as being tasty and good for them with the fruit juice!
Coca Cola..........the Real Thing because:
What do monsters eat?
Things.
What do monsters drink?
Coca Cola because things go better with Coke.
Schloer or red or white grape juice. Wine without the alcohol!
Kids that age love to think that they are grown up and are allowed to drink the same as mum and dad so try this :- PUSSYFOOT :- 1 measure each of Blackcurrant , Lime and Orange Cordials . Put in a tall glass with ice and top up with Lemonade . But please do not put too much Cordial in each measure as it is very sweet and use Sugar Free Lemonade or your little darlings will be climbing the walls . As for Mum and Dad :- Same thing but add a little Vodka or Baccardi for a SABERTOOTH . Have fun and Merry Xmas .
schloer, my mam buys this every year it tastes gorgeous, ya get different flavours, it's nicer than most juice and also looks like it's in a wine bottle!!
M&S are selling non-alcoholic mulled wine and buck's fizz. You could make up a fruit punch for them or sparkling schloer. M&S also do a nice range of cordials - elderflower, ginger etc.
Also, you can make a pina-colada cocktail smoothie. Put some pineapple in the blender with a coconut actimel (or coconut milk from a tin) and some orange or apple juice (or tropical fruit juice), blend it and pour into nice cocktail glasses with umbrellas. Pour in some bacardi for the grownups !
Make some nice non-alcoholic cocktails (or you can now buy them ready made in the chilled fruit juice section at the supermarket).
You could try something like a mojito, perhaps with lemonade, lime and mint.
I used to love sparkling cider and grape juice when I was a kid, because I thought it made me look like "an adult". Shirley Temples are also good, but they have a lot of sugar.
There are a ton of recipes for non-alcoholic pina colada, margaritas, and so on. Flavored lemonade is also good- you can either use dark colored juice like blueberry or cranberry to make it pink, or add a tiny drop of food coloring.
I like juice-only smoothies made with juice and ice, but they don't go too great with meals.
Egg nog, without alcohol. It's great tasting, & if they never had it before, it'll be really novel.
Hot Chocolate,Pumpkin Spice Latte',Sparkling Grape Juice,Frappachino's at Starbucks....my favorites!
Snowball or Cream soda with ice cream in it, cranberry juice and lemonade, bitter lemon, lemonade with freshly squeezed orange juice. Also if you go into the supermarkets they have a few non alcoholic drinks you can buy.
