yeah you must be from up north people in the south call it pop

Here in the south US where coke began and is king, we ask would you like a coke?
You say yes and then we tell you if we have coke, diet coke, 7-up, sprite, etc. It's all coke to begin with.

coke is a type of soda therefore this question makes no sense.

however...coke is my favorite flavor of soda.

pop, I gave up coke years ago......

Do you mean Coke OR Pepsi?
Coke IS Soda!

The term soft drink (more commonly known as pop, soda, or soda pop in parts of the United States and Canada, or fizzy drinks in the U.K.; sometimes called minerals in Ireland) refers to drinks, often carbonated, that do not contain alcohol.

Coke

Pop, make it a Mountain Dew please.

coke is a soda
but i say pepsi

COKE ALL THE WAY BABE!

Coke

It's called soda.

Pop, in Ohio.

coke and soda are the same thing but here in Pa. we ask for a Pop and it covers all sodas

Depends where you live. What I find more interesting is what people call their grinders/hoagies/subs/etc.

It really depends on what part of the US you are from. In the south soft drinks are called coke, no matter if its fanta or mountain dew. At the drive thru you will be asked, what kind of coke do you want? The south also uses the term soda. In the north, its called pop.

I like a lot of sodas...

Cherry
Apple
Coke
Lemonade

arent they the same thing?
