Question: I just dyed my hair with coffee.... but I didnt drink it, but I'm feeling a but like I do whenever I drink some. So can you get a caffeine rush from just smelling it or touching (obviosuly, the latter, for a long time)? can caffeien seep into your blood system via your skin?

yeah everything can seep in thru your skin although effects will not be as noticeable as if you were to drink it, but I remember seeing on tv if you put a piece of garlic in between your toes you will be able to taste it in your mouth. it was done to show just how vulnerable our body's are.

but know that it wont be as strong if you actually ingested it.

yeah i thoughto so, i tried it, it's works... not as strong... but thanks for the points. Report It

  • I have never heard of that but lotions seep into your skin, and vitamins can as well (like topical vitamin e) - not as much an effect, but it does seep into your skin. I don't really know, my best answer is maybe. Interesting theory though.

the coffee is probably seeping into your skin. theres a similar caffine soap made by a gaming company (to help gamers stay up longer) that is absorbed thru the skin. this is probably the same kind of method.
