Soft Drink Question?!
-Did rootbeer have beer?
-Did cream soda have cream?
-Did ginger ale have ginger?
Answers: I know Coke had coke but...
-Did rootbeer have beer?
-Did cream soda have cream?
-Did ginger ale have ginger?
I think rootbeer is named that because it has to ferment the same as beer. Cream soda did have cream in it.....you could go to a diner and order a cream soda instead of just a soda. I don't think ginger ale had ginger...but I'm not sure. I guess it could have.....
Beer is a term for one of the stages of making a beverage, especially when made from a 'natural' ingredient (Sassafras in the case of root beer).
Cream soda is named because of its 'texture', or creamy feeling when you drink
ginger ale did (and may yet) have some ginger flavoring.
rootbeer no beer, made from the root of the wheat that makes beer
cream soda still has cream
gingerale still has ginger
there are no natural ingredients in the above soft drinks. Every flavor is artificial. Various chemicals are mixed to create imitations of what you'd think cream tastes like, etc. Only in the beginning Coca Cola had cocaine in it... clearly, not anymore.
so, no, the answer is they don't have any of the ingredients you've inquired about.
If you're interested in knowing what you're consuming, try water. Everything else is just chemicals
