How do you make coffee with a drip coffee maker?!

Question: If a manual pot
1) Place filter in top part of coffee maker.
2) 1 Tablespoon ground coffee for every 6 ounces water into the filter.
3) Pour boiling water into the top over the grounds.
4) wait and drink.
If electric, same directions except pour required amount of water into the tank, plug in, turn on and wait.
