Question: What's the trick to making really good cocoa...the old fashioned kind. What's the ratio of cocoa to sugar to milk and what's the best way to get the powder blender into the milk well?

Bring the milk up to temp on the stove in a 2 qt pot.

find :Nestle Abuelita and coarse chop with a sharp knife the chocolate brick up.. then add to a blender and chop in blender... add milk less than half way in the blender.. Mix the two in the blender... then add rest of milk... Done...

add sugar in cup to liking.. start off with small amounts the nestle is all ready partial sweetened.

pour a cup of milk into a pot then heat and pour into the cup and add the cocoa and sugar

Buy a container of real Hersheys cocoa. It has the recipe for real hot cocoa on it. I use a whisk to mix it well while heating. Don't forget lots of marshmallows! Enjoy!
