Hot Chocolate
4-1/2 cups whole milk
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
1/4 cup sugar
Heat milk in medium saucepan reserving 1/2 cup.Let simmer, but do not boil.Mix 1/2 cup milk, cocoa, and sugar in a small bowl.Add to the warm milk and continue until the cocoa is hot.
Great toppings for hot chocolate:
Crushed Heath bar
a shot of espresso
marshmallows
cinnamon and sugar
If you want to add mint extract you can,but you only need a drop or two as it is very strong.Look for it in the baking isle with the other extracts,or you can crush a candy cane in it.It`s also a great idea to serve those mini candy canes with hot chocolate!
cinnamon/sugar:
1 vanilla been, split and scrape seeds out
1/2 cup sugar
1 T. cinnamon
Combine all ing.

cadbury
first mix a couple of tablespoons of cocoa with 4 tablespoons of sugar then add a little cold water mix it up then add it to hot milk to taste it is heaven.
For one cup of hot cocoa, I use one heaping teaspoon of cocoa powder, approx. 4 heaping teaspoons of sugar, add a small amount of water just to blend....heat this in a mug in the microwave for 30 seconds. Then remove it, stir well, fill the rest of the way with milk (and here's where you could add some liquid peppermint coffee creamer---I think Coffeemate has one that's good), heat it again for a minute or so depending on how hot you like your cocoa. You can adjust sugar to taste.
Steam the milk over the stove, add hershey's chocolate syrup to the steamed milk & stir it. Or you can always do what I do - go to Starbucks & have them make you a nice hot chocolate. It's yummy!!
Here is a receipe for Campers cocoa:
21 cups of milk powder
10 ounces of coffee creamer
2 pound can of Quick( I use the cheapest mix)
1 pound of powdered sugar
Mix this together( makes a lot, I use a roaster pan to mix it) Store in a container. Fill the cup 1/3 full with mix. (doesn't matter how big or small the cup fill 1/3 ) Pour in Hot water, top with your favorite toppings(marshmellows, marshmellow creame, whipped topping).
If you want to flavor this add your favorite coffee creamer( french vanilla, hazlenut, cinnamon, etc.)
You can add a couple drops of peppermint extract, or peppermint schnapps, Add a peppermint stick as a stirrer. Cherry extract, Amaretto for Chocolate cherry,
I make several batches of this every year for my kids, and family friends.
