Why do I always get diarrhea when I drink coffee?!

Question: You get sick because caffeine is a diuretic that stimulates your digestive system... and as we all know coffee is loaded with caffeine. Alot of people have this problem though.. my mother has this problem too and switched coffees (and cut back).

Simply Smooth by folgers is a more "stomach friendly" coffee, if you are looking for something easier on the stomach.

It is a natural stool softener, so to speak ;)
For some more so than others, try to make yours not so strong, if that doesn't help and it's too big of a problem you'll just have to admit it doesn't agree with you.

Your stomach does not agree to it or could be the milk they put in the coffee. Are you lactose Intolerant?

Hot water which loosens the innards + Caffine which speeds up pretty much everything in the body... That might be a good start.

Coffee is actually a mild diuretic. By itself it's generally not a problem, just gets things moving in the morning. What else are you eating? Is there something in your system at night that reacts to the little boost of coffee in the morning? If this is a totally on-going problem and persistent, it's well over time to get to your doctor. Could be any number of things, but don't wait.

Your body does not like coffee. So that means you should not drink coffee unless you just like going to the bathroom a lot.
