Who invented alcoholic drinks ?? & why ??!

Question: Its wasn't invented, it was discovered. The eating and drinking of alcoholic foods and drinks is older than mankind. There are species of apes that are known to let fruit over-ripen in the sun so its sugars spoil and turn into alcohol, and they get drunk off it.

Me

I would guess that back in the old caveman days that someone left a load of fruit to rot (and so ferment), and when they tried drinking it they realised that it had intoxicating effects - and bingo ! Thank god they did or lfe would be pretty dull !

cavemen ... for fun

The Egyptians were the first to brew beer from grain. Why? It was an alternative to water which may have been foul. During the early days, people occasionally got high because they frequently foraged for food (picked up anything that grew and tasted decent and ate it). Even today should you eat the wrong plant, mushroom, etc, you can catch a buzz.

who cares???
cheers.

All societies, it was first done accidental when fresh juice from any fruit was left out to long, because of the natural sugar content in fruit juices it began to ferment on its own!
