Help me drinking my milk please...?!
which one is better?
if the powdered milk is better, give me reasons why i should stay with that yucky powdered milk!
thank you,
if you can help me you can turn my breakfast time better, without my mom shouting at me and i'm being nauseated drinking that...
Answers: i really hate powdered milk. it tastes terrible, no matter whether it's vanilla, chocolate, plain, skim, nonfat, whatever. it's yucky! but my mom insists that powdered milk is better than liquid milk (that one, that is plain and should be put in refrigerator and expires 4 days after we buy) and i dont agree. i prefer the milk in the carton anyway. isnt the powdered milk contain more additive because it lasts for longer time (despite the fact that it's actually dried indeed)?

First of all I can't see overly proccessed food products being a good thing. Proccessing it tends to destroy some of the nutritional value. Furthermore if you won't drink it, it is of no use and you need so many servings of dairy each day.
Of course, me being a smart ***, I would tell my mom "If god wanted us to drink powered milk he would of made cow that gave us powered milk", but that would probiablely got me in trouble.
i used to drink liquid milk it tastes good .and it is fresh
Your mother is wierd, powdered milk is just nasty. Use real milk, even if you have to buy it yourself.
Big reason- taste
To me powdered milk tastes fine as long as it is cold.
Powered milk is GROSS, I'm with you there. I can't really say which type is healthier (but anything closer to fresh seems obviously better!), but according to items "e" and "F" in this link, powdered milk does not stay good for long once the container is opened - which is not much different than liquid: http://waltonfeed.com/grain/faqs/iib1.ht...
With liquid milk, the less fat it has, the longer it will keep if you keep your fridge cold enough. I use Horizon brand organic milk, fat-free only, and I always make sure to get a carton that has a sell-by date more than 10 days away from when I'm buying it. It lasts around two weeks before it's even close to going bad. But I've always found all brands of fat-free liquid milk to last that long. Milk with fat goes bad way faster.
Compared to fresh milk, powdered milk (and powdered eggs) are stated to be exceptionally high in oxysterols (oxidized cholesterol). The free radicals have been stated to have atherogenic ("causing atherosclerosis") and carcinogenic ("causing cancer") properties. Powdered milk is frequently added to 1-2% pasteurized milk to give it more body.
