I do agree with you to a point. Places like Starbucks have gone so overboard in trying to transform coffee into such a weak and kiddy drink. I'm against them calling a large coffee "Grande" just like I'm against them charging me $4.00 for it. Forget super-deluxe mochaccinos with 4 inches of whipped cream on top. I enjoy variety though, so I don't mind switching up coffee flavors. Just stay away from chocolate coffee... that stuff is absolutely terrible.

I agree with people when they say that coffee should taste the way it was meant to, but I don't think it's wrong to give hazelnut a shot, or maybe a seasonal coffee like pumpkin spice or.... wait nevermind.. I was going to say peppermint, but that's just sounds way too disgusting.

I must have missed the Great Coffee Memo....wtf ever happened to COFFEE flavored coffee?

I blame society.

There seems to have been a rise of a 'coffee culture'. A friend's trying to get her man to bacome 'civilised' and join her in this new trend. He just wants coffee as do I. People don't just drink coffee now, but get together to 'do' coffee. Why the change?

I agree 100%. If you don't like "coffee" flavor..don't drink coffee! I've actually never set foot in a Starbucks..for just this reason. I like my coffee strong and straight and besides what's up with paying as much for 1 cup as you can get 5#'s for??

I don't go to coffee shops because I LIKE coffee, I don't need to disguise it's flavor. Straight up, nothing added. JUST PLAIN COFFEE!!!!!!!! Everyone who tastes my coffee loves it! (Good water makes great coffee!) I use my softened tap water, which is well water.

I have never found anything from Starbucks that I like, not even their coffee. I bought a package of the coffee at Sams and it smelled like cat urine--------no more for me.

Agreed.
The only thing I've ever had from Starbucks was a brownie. It sucked.

it's not the sellers, it's the buyers. The patrons choose which drinks will survive and which won't. In general, people love their sugary, unhealthy coffee drinks.
