Does caffeine pills generally not hurt the stomach as much as drinking a soda, tea, coffee etc.?!

Question: All caffeine drinks make me bloated and my stomach hurt. I have heard that caffeine pills are less likely to do this because there is no acid from the drinks. Is this true? Can anyone tolerate the pills and not the drinks? Thanks!

I used those caffeine pills years ago when I was working full time and going to college full time. I had a night math class that was 2 or 3 hours and it was a killer to try and stay awake in it. At the break I would take a caffeine pill and that would keep me alert enough to stay with it and get home. They never seemed to upset my stomach, but I was a LOT younger.

You should look for this drink called "5 hour energy drink" You could find it at any major store. Very little sugar and calories.
