Yes, you will loose weight, and you will be doing yourself a big favor in many areas. Pepsi is hard on your stomach, and the sugar is bad for your teeth, and the calories add up so high, that you could be eating a wonderful dinner every night instead, and still never hit all of those calories, in the Pepsi alone. Water is so good for you, and try to drink any flavor of juice that you like with the most fruit content, and least concentrated the better. People are either sugar cravers, or salt cravers. I like the salty foods, like seafoods, popcorn, and just meat and potatoes. Ive never been into deserts, sodas, or sweet snacks. My weight all my life has been low, and I exercise only by walking my dogs everyday and stay fit. Its just simple things like that, that keep you well and fit. Good luck in cutting out the soda, you will feel so much better, and you will be doing yourself a hugh favor!

Yes you will if it's not diet. That's an astounding amount of calories.
I would just stick with water though. Juices have a lot of sugar too (although at least it's not HFCS)

yes, thats alot of pepsi to be drinking.

You'll lose a lot of weight, since soda is purely empty calories. I'd recommend more water than juice; and whatever juice you drink, look for the low-sugar varieties.

Yes, but watch the juice. Some juices can have as much sugar and calories as soda. Drink mostly water, and you'll save your waistband and your teeth.

wow you must waste a lot of money and.. time :D

and you must get a lot of extra calories.

my mom used to drink about 1 case a week which seemed like a lot to me.

maybe it was 2.

but when she tryed to just stop drinking pop it didn't work very well.

it was like she was quitting smoking!

so for you.

dont quit 'cold turkey' probably.

just drink like... 5 packs.

then 4 packs.

then 3.

then 2.

then 1.

then you can still have some every now and then.

try to drink juicy juice, 100% juice if you are going to drink juice.

and water is good for you.

yes, yes, yes, i am a person who doesn't eat enough to have the pound numbers that i have, my doctor said it is my sugar intake that was keeping me at my weight, water is definitely the answer, but be careful with juice also some juices are just as sugary as Pepsi, you want low sugar 100% juice,oh and you can still have your pepsi just take it down a notch or four, i drink one a week, sometimes i won't have one foe three weeks straight,it has already made ahuge diffrence, especially in the midriff.

I used to drink huge amounts of Coke each day. When I was diagnosed with diabetes I had to stop drinking it and I lost 20 lbs in a few months. I have studied nutrition a lot and have found that both the calories (which come from the sugar) and the caffene affect weight loss and health. When your body is pumped full of sugar (even if you are not diabetic) your system attempts to metabolize it. Because there is so much sugar in your body, your system doesn't have a chance to metabolize fat and the fat gets stored and you gain weight. Excess caffene causes you to lose a lot of water in your body which keeps you from digesting properly. Losing the excess soda will do you a world of good.

Consequently, I recently heard a story about a man who used to drink a ton of diet pepsi each week and he ended up with some sort of cancer and other issues where he couldn't speak normally. SO if you do quit, don't replace it with the diet variety (one a day is ok) because the chemicals in the diet stuff is really bad for you in excess.

I was literally addicted to Coke. It took me a while to stop drinking it. I replaced it with herbal or decaf iced tea, water, and the occasional low sugar juice.

Regarding your juice question...when I was taking a class on nutrition the lecturer told us that juice has just as much sugar as soda. It was somehting like this: in order to get a cup of OJ you have to squeeze 10-15 oranges (or somehting like that) and if you were to look up how many calories that is you would be shocked. Unfortunately your not just getting the juice of the orange, manufacturers add a lot of sugar.

Like I said, I was a diabetic (no longer, praise God!) and I could not drink juice regularly, but I do buy tropicanas 1/2 sugar OJ and I only drink half an 8 ounce glass.

Of course you don't have to omit all juice and soda but only drink small amounts and do your best to drink more water. Whenever I get a coke at a restaraunt, I drink a glass af water first and try to drink the soda slowly.

Good Luck.
I hope everything works out.

v8 fruit juice
it is realy good

If you stop drinking half of what you are drinking now you will probably lose weight. But water is the best always. Alot of times when we feel hungry its really our bodies dehydrating and if you drink some water you will feel better. As far as drinking juice I would recommend organic juices. They are natural. Alot of juices are high in suctrose which are natuarl sugars but its better for you then the sugar you consume in soda. All in all water is your best bet.

water and grape fruit juice

You're taking in a tremendous amount of caffeine and empty calories! You'll want to cut back slowly, so your system won't go into shock from caffeine withdrawl. Water is better than juice for losing weight. You might also try unsweetened tea. Plain black tea has half as much caffeine as a cup of coffee, and no calories. Lots of juices have high fructose corn syrup in them, which you'll want to avoid. Try to find 100% juice kinds, and don't drink more than a couple of glasses of that a day. Good luck.

Yes. As soon as pop is taken out of a diet people seem to shed the pounds off. Also all that pop is terrible for your teeth, skin, and hair. And by ingesting all that sugar into your body you could give yourself diabetis or some other sugar desease...

pepsi is a junk drink, don't drink it
if you are not overweight, you will become overweight and possibly become diabetic. try to cut down

Well you are probably addicted to the caffeine.

Juice is very sugary to.

Try tea or water. But you can drink juice to, just not all the time. Try low sugar juice, but not sugar free.

Yes, I saw you on the Pepsi web site as a distinguished consumer, saying they'll be sorry to see you go.
