They claim you need 64 ounces a day. Crystal Light does count as water because as you point out it is just flavored water.

You are supposed to drink 6-8 glasses of water a day. I think you can drink the Crystal Light and count it towards your daily intake of water. Like you said, you are drinking a glass of water, just with powder in it. I would still try to drink just a plain glass of water or two a day just to give your body a cleansing drink.

i've been reading up on it and drinking about 8 glasses of water a day is about right. I have this awesome jug i got from walgreens, made of polycarbonate plastic(really strong) and it holds 2.2 liters (74ozs.) of water in it. I carry it with me all day and i drink on it. it has a website www.dscproducts.com for info about it. i also cracked my first one and the website sent me a new one free. It's my new best friend. If you are looking for a cleansing or detox, drink nothing but water because crystal light and other things turn your water into something else so it's not that same as just drinking water. juice is good too, just make sure it's 100% and no sugar. if you exercise, drink even more water before, during,or after. hope this helps!
