Answers: I can no longer have caffeen. I am already suffering from caffeen withdrawl.

You poor thing. My husband had to give up caffine for his heart, too. But he couldn't live without it, so as soon as the doctor said he could have 16 oz daily, he started to dilute it with hot water. Now we use half coffee and half decaf. I like decaf. It takes just as good as coffee to me.

He started drinking lots of herbal caffine free tea. I always did. I love Jasmine green tea. I go through phases of flavors. I also drink two liters of water daily. I have a 1/2 gallon jug that I freeze half full every night. In the morning I top it off with fresh water. I keep it at my desk and take it in the car. I am constantly sipping water, but I love it!

I hope that you get some good answers from a good doctor soon. Hugs to you and good luck, too!

did you try herbal teas

I would try water or flavored water. you want to flush the caffiene out of system.

There is something called Lipton On The Go iced tea packages. I got the Lemon flavored and mix it in with water to hydrate. They're calorie free, caffeine free, and sugar free. They're actually pretty good!

un sweetened fruit juices are better than tea and coffee

vitamin water, flavored water, herbal tea, decaf tea (has small amount of caffeine), juices

herbal tea includes rooibus, honeybush, and spearmint: all very good and caffeine free

Hot water with lime and honey. I have given up on my morning tea and drink this concoction. I don't feel I missed my tea anymore in the mornings.

Hot Chocolate

Grammy take a fresh lemon sqeeze in cup..add hot water..sugar to your taste.

hot water with lemon is good because its a hot drink and also because its good to detox and gt rid of like all the caffeine and withdrawal symptoms and toxins in your body

Hi,
Tea or coffee generally makes you feel refreshed and more alert. So, if you want to have similar effects from the drink you choose in place of coffee/tea, then they should be warm, light and pleasant. Fruit juices may not help you for that though they are excellent drinks to have anytime of the day.
You can try herbal tea or herbal coffee which do not contain tea or coffee but are a mix of some other herbs. Certain leaves make good decotion when brewed in water.
Or else you can try warm water with cumin or cardamom or cinnamon or basil, mint or ginger, in small quantities. These will make you feel refreshed. You can try brewing one or two cardamom pods with water and adding a little honey and lime juice to it. Lime juice in warm water with honey also will make you feel better. Some flower petals like jasmine or rose also make excellent flavours to drink with water or milk.
Try out.. ACtually tea of coffee in moderate quantities, like within 4 cups a day should not be bad for anyone. And if you have the habit of drinking enough water, it should be just fine. Check out.. And enjoy... :-)
Take care.. All the best..

I buy a health drink called FUZE, Healthy Infuzions WHITE TEA...
It is hard to find here in Fl, but is made (Bottled) in New Jersey..
