UK only - whatever happened to Vanilla Coke?!

Question: I used to love that stuff! Now it just seems to have disappeared. I think maybe SOME places still sell it but it's very rare and I haven't seen it in any supermarkets. Did no one else like it then?

Vanilla and Diet vanilla coke were withdrawn in early 2006 due to poor sales. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/4405...

was probably limited addition...

I know it was nice. I liked the lemon one too, but i hate the citrus.

i don't tink anyone liked it so they don't sell it any more!!!

I liked it. And lime coke, that was yummy. Can't find that either.

I think if products like that don't sell amazingly well, they take them back off again.

it was too sticky and attracted bees, many people were killed... very sad.. didnt you hear about it??

I don't know why it disappeared but I loved it and wish they would bring it back.

if you liked that, try cream/ice cream soda - its got a similar creamy fizzyness to vanilla coke
and yes, it does appear to have disappeared off our shelves....... curiously.......

i never had none

its alive and well here

It was limited edition so it's probably been taken off the shelves.

Oh yeah, forgot about that. yeah, where has it gone. now that youve mentioned it, i want a vanilla coke now. ohhhhhh. probably a limited edition.

i really didnt like vanilla coke, it was way too sweet

i dont know i thought they still had that. wasn't that at the Big Ben?

we still have it here in the US of A!

Maybe the market did not do so well, so stopped producing it.

i think it was a limited edition
