Milk as a creamer for coffee?!

Question: I'm wondering if milk would work as a creamer for coffee. I have some regular 2% milk and some regular dry coffee creamer. I have seen people do this and it looks very good. However, when I do this, it makes the coffee cold.

What am I supposed to do with the milk before I add it into the coffee? Do I warm it up or something?

How much do I add? I usually add a LOT or dry cream since I like a rich, creamy taste rather than a dark, strong taste. Please tell me based on coffee in a regular coffee mug.

Yes, warm the milk up in the coffee cup (microwave) while you are brewing your coffee. If you do half milk and half coffee, you get New Orleans Cafe Au Lait (Coffee w/ Milk).

The BEST coffee whitener, IMHO, is Half and Half. Not enough to cool it off, but cools it just enough to let you start drinking right away.

yes warm the milk a little before adding it to your coffee, how much you add is personal taste

Personally, if you like a rich creamy taste to your coffee you're gonna be disappointed in using milk. Either stick to your powdered creamer, use a liquid creamer, or try half and half. I don't like milk, 2% or otherwise in my coffee.
