Can you give me any tips on making the perfect cup of coffee?!

Question: If you're using non-automatic drip, use unbleached filters.
Use freshly-ground beans, ground to the appropriate fineness.
Don't use boiling water; stop the heating process just before it boils.
Put just a bit of water in the grounds to moisten them before you pour the water.

If you're using a French press type of coffee maker, don't grind the beans too fine.

brew it yourself its always the best.

or go get starbucks. their cool :)

Make sure the coffee pot is clean! Use filtered water. Make it strong enough that it's a rich color, but don't use so much coffee that the grounds get into the cup.

Serve it with slightly warmed milk and if you want to really make it good - get some of that Torani syrup - it's what the coffee shops use, but you can buy it in groceries, too.

I LOVES ME MY COFFEE!

Depending on how strong you want your coffee; some say 1 teaspoon of coffee to every 6 ounces of water. Some put a pinch of salt in the grounds to reduce bitterness.

Fresh coffee is the key. Buy it from somewhere that roasts their own then you can be sure it is freshly roasted. And grind it just before you use it, once ground the flavour is lost quickly. If you dont have a machine then get a stove top pot that brews it in the same sort of way...using pressure. Drip coffee is the worst kind of coffee.....way higher caffeine content than espresso.

Find a blend which you like. - This can take quite a long time.
Good coffee is like good wine - there are many to choose from, and even beans from the same region or crop can be baked differently or stored badly.

Go to a good coffee merchants where they grind the beans for you - cafetiere is probably best for flavour.
A good 2 scoops in there and fill with freshly boiled water.
--- Give it time !!! - about 3- 5 minutes should do it.
Push down the filter and if you want sugar raw cane is better than white.
Full fat milk is recommended rather than cream or semi-skimmed. - but you can have it how you like it.

many times of hard practice

what device do you use, ie filter with plunger or a percolator

tips would be , by coffee at a strength you like use the numbers they give on the packet as a guide, to strong to weak , go to the next number

coffee needs to be hot, so i normally rinse cups , plunger etc under hot water , don't use boiling water, give it few mintues after its boiled then pour the water

using plunger, make sure you stir it just before you plunge it
