I'm lactose intolerant and I'm still able to digest small amounts of hard cheeses and yogurt. Also, they make lactose free milk, that's what I have on my cereal. There are also soy and/or rice replacements for many foods like milk, cheese and ice cream. You might have to hunt around your grocery store a bit, but they're out there. Good luck!

I personally think chocalate soymilk rocks!!!:D Report It

soy milk, get the silk brand, they even make it in a chocolate flavor and many more... you have to eat more oragnic stuff too, like cheese and stuff without the milk like veggie slices.

Land 'O' Lake makes a lactose free milk. If you are to stay off dairy for 8 days, don't use it, because it is actual cows milk. Your Dr. may be checking for dairy alergies also. But if you are diagnosed as lactose intolerate only you can use it to make your chocolate milk drinks.
If you are in fact alergic to dairy, you will have to go with Soy or Rice milks.
