You will need to go to the store you bought it from to resolve the issue - You can also contact the manufacture for assitance. They sometimes send you coupons for free or discounted products of theirs to replace the product or just to apologize. They want your continued buisness.
How is it defective?
Store should return/refund/replace if you have a receipt.
Take it back to the store where you bought it. I'm sure they've seen it before. The caps on those things break if you drop them. Stores end up with an outrageous amount of damaged vitamin water. They'll give you a refund and then they will in turn give it back to Coca Cola and get a refund.
