What's the healthiest way to get caffeine?!
Answers: I wonder this often. I hear coffee is bad for you, especially your teeth. And diet soda has asparatin which causes cancer in lab rats. So how does one get caffeine? Tea?
What you hear about coffee is not true. There has been much research done on coffee, and still, they can't find anything that is detrimentally conclusive. If researchers are determined to find trouble with anything, they will take the least positive aspect of it and spin it to "there are inconclusive results."
Regarding your teeth, coffee and tea are only bad in that they dry out your mouth allowing bacteria to multiply. Solution - drink water after your coffee or tea. Tea is actually beneficial to your teeth in that in contains "natural" fluoride (not the toxic fluoride provided by the aluminum industry that you find in municipal water systems).
Concerning diet soda, aspartame is dangerous. Stay away from it - period. Regular soda is also seriously bad for you as it contains gobs and gobs of various sugars, artificial colors, artificial flavors, stabilizers, and other needless chemical junk. Blow it out of your reality.
Here's what I do: drink organically grown coffee and tea. Commercially grown coffee and tea contain all the usual agricultural chemicals and you should avoid them. Organic coffee and tea products are available at natural food stores such as Whole Foods. Also many progressive states (Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, etc.) still have natural food co-operatives. You can find many organic coffee and tea products there.
Enjoy your coffee. Enjoy your tea.
Green tea-low amount of caffeine-loaded with good stuff
My preference is Mountain Dew.
:)
One cup of coffe ever once and a while never hurt anyone.
i would say black tea, asians have been drinking it for a very long time. its good to take it twice a day only for breakfast and then in the afternoon at 5 pm. cuz it really is refreshing and i love it HOT. milk and suger.
tea does contain caffeine. infact both substances dry contain similar amounts however once hydrated another substance is released in the tea which fights the effects of caffeine. if you do not have to worry about your weight go for chocolate dude!! it contains anti-oxidents especially the dark stuff and tastes great!
best wishes.
oh and p.s. whay do you want caffeine?
honestly-- scientifically proven that an apple will wake you up better in the morning than a cup of coffee will...
aside from that, i opt for tea. obviously natural, providing antioxidants- which are great for yer body (depending on the tea-of-choice)... also energy drinks, but i dont like many.
i vote for fruit and exercise to wake you up better and keep you energized. also eating in the morning will keep your metabolism working, which helps to keep you awake and energized.
