Starbucks employees?!


Question: What is the recipe/process for making a mocha frappucino? i love them when i visit the states, but i live in germany and there are barely any starbucks here. i make mine with cold coffee, choco sauce, and ice in a blender but the milk becomes all frothy and the ice is all clumpy, even when blended a lot...HELP!!! thank youuu (:

They actually use special thickeners derived from clay and seaweed to give it that thick and creamy consistency. I'd suggest using corn syrup as a sweetener/thickener. Also, make your coffee double strength so you don't have to use as much. Add it cold to your ice and choco syrup and corn syrup, then use either heavy cream or condensed milk for your dairy. This way the only thing thinning it out are the coffee and melting ice. As for the ice being too chunky - you should have just enough ice so that the liquid just barely floats it all, or you may need a new high-powered blender.

i'm not a starbucks employee, but i know they use syrups. and i think they use espresso
