What is the difference between apple cider and apple juice?!
Answers: Just wondering, I like cider better.
both cider and juice are 100% juice from an apple. Its a difference between blending fresh apples cause that leaves what you call cider dark and thicker. now apple juice is processed and filtered better which makes it lighterand crappier in my opinion lol! hope this helps....
Cider is alcoholic, apple juice is just juice.
Edit: it turns out Cider is a non-alcoholic drink in the USA, whereas in THE REST OF THE ENTIRE WORLD its an alcoholic beverage.
Apple Cider is thicker and i dont really know, sorry :S I wanted the 2 points :S (I like Apple Cider betta to)
apple cider is heather and more quality apples. Apple juice is just made with rotten apples and lots of surgar.
Cider isn't as strong as juice and has carbonation inside it, unlike juice, which is just squeezed apples and water.
In North America, true cider is raw, fresh apple juice that has not been filtered to remove sediments. Many varieties of cider sold in stores is pasteurized making it safer to drink.
Apple juice is finely filtered and pasteurized to extend shelf-life.
In the rest of the world, apples are fermented to make a wine. It is the product North Americans refer to as "Hard Cider."
"Apple Cider vs. Apple Juice
Apple cider is essentially apple juice that has not undergone a filtration process that removes coarse pulp or sediment. Cider may or may not be heat pasteurized. Apple juice has been filtrated, pasteurized, and vacuum sealed to give a longer lasting, clearer looking product. Most juices add additional water and other ingredients to maintain flavor and clarity. Outside the U.S., the term "Apple Cider" typically means "Hard Cider" while "Apple Juice" usually will get you a sweet cider."
Cider is fermented apple juiice but it is not at the alcohol state. Is is more acidic.
yes i love apple cider and apple juice. But yea apple cider is more thick and more sweet, and is more pure then apple juice. But they both are delicious!
I think that if I'm not mistaken cider is when you crush the apple and not filter out any of the materials and then you bottle it while apple juice you filter pasteurize and then bottle.
