erm no, Normally when i bring the water to my mouth i can smell if it smells bad, But thats cause i saw my friend do it onces. been careful ever sense haha =]
The scary part is that you know what the toilet water smells like....that said, sniff then drink is now a new rule and sip and spit is totally acceptable.

Bottle water does not mean is the freshest to drink.
Remember that bottle of water could has been sitting in the shelf over few months before you purchased.
The smell you felt when opening the bottle is the result of trapped oxygen in the bottle mixing with new oxygen of the outside...Always check the expiration date in your bottle water.

yeah it was hot in San Diego, CA and I left it on my other car my M3 and so my brother borrow the car and take the bottle of water that I left inside and put in in my room and I came home and drunk it later. ewe. it was disguising. it gave me a stomachache for the whole day I was in the bathroom.
