Has anyone ever tried a shirly temple drink...?!

Question: Shirley Temple is a non-alcoholic mixed drink made with ginger ale, grenadine syrup, and orange juice and garnished with a maraschino cherry and a slice of lemon. The ginger ale is often substituted with 7 Up, Sprite, or similar lemon-lime soft drink, and the orange juice is commonly left out. It is often served to children dining with elders to let them share the experience of drinking a cocktail, which is why it is sometimes called a kiddie cocktail

Alcoholic Shriley Temple or Non? The alcoholic and non alcoholic are both equally good. They are also very easy to make, if you never tried either i reccomended it. Here are two recipes.

Non Alcoholic Shirley Temple

INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage
1 tablespoon grenadine syrup
1 maraschino cherry

DIRECTIONS
In a tall glass, combine orange juice and lemon-lime soda. Pour grenadine in and let it sink to the bottom. Garnish with a maraschino cherry and a straw for stirring.

Alcoholic Shirley Temple

1 ounce grenadine
6 ounces ginger ale
2 ounces vodka
2 ounces orange juice (substitute out some gingerale, orange juice adds a zing!) (optional)

mix and enjoy!
