Oh, I can't stand the taste of the water in our city and most of the surrounding suburbs. You can taste all the purification chemicals they put in our water and I do not like the taste of it at all. The only place I've ever found that had worse tasting water was a small town where one of my aunts lived that used well-water. Her water tasted really bad and smelled like sulfur. My mother-in-law also has well water and it always has something oily floating on top of it, although it doesn't stink or really taste bad. I think it is more the idea of drinking water that has been run through a Brita Filter and it still has some sort of oily residue on top of it that makes me feel like something is wrong with her water supply. The cows can have it! And Brita Filters are supposed to filter out all the bad stuff, but I'm still not convinced whenever I look at my mother-in-law's filtered
water that has oily residue on top.

When my brother was still alive, I would actually drink the water that came through the refrigerator door because it was all natural, spring fed water. It was naturally cold, it had no smell or taste, and it was actually very invigorating. He is gone now, so I rarely go to that town where he lived that has tons of springs that feed into the water supply. It was really the only 'tap' water I ever liked. I think that 375 miles is a long way to go for a drink of decent tap water.
And this water did not have to be filtered at all.

So, I am an ice cold Spring Water Bottled Water drinker!! I don't even like the taste of purified water because I can taste chemicals in it, as well. I just want wet and cold H2O with no taste at all! To me, that is the best tasting water there that exists. I guess between
my husband, teenage son and me, we probably go through about five to six big cartons of Spring Water in a week.

Recycling around where we live is no big deal at all. We have all kinds of places where you can recycle various types of metal, newspapers and all kinds of paper, plastic bottles, glass, computer ink cartridges, and a whole lot more.

I have visited some places in CO and NM to where drinking their spring-fed tap water doesn't bother me, but overall, I'd rather not
take any chances, and I stick with bottled Spring Water. I guess it is just what you get used to drinking because I'm a native of the South and I am just picky about how my water tastes. There are certain places north of where I live that have good tasting tap water, but where I live, it has always had a chemical taste to it.

Tap.

I mostly drink britta filtered tap water

We live in SC, USA and have a well..Sadly, we drink bottled water thanks to the industrial parks in the area! Never envisioned the day when good sparkling well water wasn't the preferred drink!

cheers

I live in an area with excellent tasting water. So, I use tap.
However, I have been in cities where the taste of tap water was abominable - in that case, I certainly don't blame you for buying bottled.

I love this question. Unless you live in an area where tap water is considered "questionable", there is no reason not to drink tap water. All drinking bottled water does is make the companies wealthy. We are led to believe that you can't beat bottled water, but I've seen more than one article dealing with this topic, and in every case, the writer said that tap water is just as good as the bottled stuff.

Try buying one of those britta filters or some other such device for your kitchen faucet. Go to a plumbing store and see if they can recommend a good one. I know what you mean because I once rented a home on the beach in N.C. a long time ago and the water tasted terrible. Try the filter, it might cost more initially, but will save you money over time. Salut!!

Bottled. =)
I think tap leaves a funny taste in your mouth !

I drink a lot of bottled. But I will drink tap often also. I do know what you mean about difference in the taste. The town I live in has good water, but yet the town I work in I hate the water. Weird how something that is supposed to be tasteless can have so many different flavors.

Tap at home. From my well. But at work they provide bottled. Because the city water tastes terrible . Especially in the Summer.

bottles

Tap... I just check for floating particles first!!

I drink bottled water.

Bottled.

Bottled water (spring water). The reasons:

Our tap can cause high blood pressure;
Some pregnancies have had miscarriages;
Tap taste not very good;
Coffee taste from our tap is terrible.

I drink bottled or filter tap water. Get a filter on your tap water and it will take away the crap taste of tap water. Get a two stage filter and install it under your kitchen sink. They are wonderful! It is also a lot cheaper than bottled water! :-)

Tap
But I Prefere Bottled Lol =]

Bottled water

Either filtered out of the refridgerator door or tap, I'm not bothered which one it is.

Tap water.

Tap water, it is heaps cleaner.

If I'm out and about i drink bottled water, but when I'm at home i boil my water and chill it. Believe me, it tastes so much better.

Hi Sweet Judy, I am with you i drink bottled Spring water it's very good especially for a cup of coffee..
