Makeshift coffee filter?!

Sprinkle some cold water over the hot brew. Keep for a minute. The thick powder settles down. On top you find super fine coffee; taste it5 to believe it.
try paper towels, white paper table napkins, kleenex if they are white or if you are really desperate, you can use a clean linen tea towel. I have even seen suggested by other 'answer'ers, clean pantihose.

Several thick papertowels will work in a pinch. Do not try to use other napkin products.....they will tear and you will have a really big mess.

I wouldn't trust any other paper product that is not made for this purpose.
In the future to avoid this problem get yourself a "SWISS GOLD" metal filter. No paper required.
