What's the closest soda to Mountain Dew?!
Answers: What's the closest soda to Mountain Dew that is "generic" or "store brand"?
Out of all the ones I've tried, I think "Mountain Maze" from Albertsons is the closest, it's pretty darned close!
Other's I've tried:
Walmart: Mountain Lightening - not very close
Smiths: Mountain Mist - closer than above but no cigar
Mellow Yellow (by Coke) is pretty close, too...but not generic.

I went to 3 different stores and got 3 different answers. One place it was Coke, one was Sprite, one had an orange soda next to it. I forgot ask, on the left or right?

mello yello if you can still find it. In fact, it was created to compete solely with the dew. Sam's choice has something called Mt. Lightning, it's just like "dew" but not quite!
