Is latte a coffee?!

Question: if there's latte in tea is it considered a caffeinated drink like coffee?

Answers: if there's latte in tea is it considered a caffeinated drink like coffee?

A latte is a shot of espresso w/ steamed milk.

I know there are some places that call their chais "chai latte", but I don't know whether they have coffee in them. It is a mix or syrup, usually. You'd have to ask what ingredients are in there.

There are places that really screw up on the terminology, though. Don't get me started on "caramel macchiato"...

"latte" is a combination of coffee or tea with steamed and frothy milk. theres chai tea latte and espresso latte. there is no latte in tea or coffee its just the way the drink is prepared

Sorry, i never try the tea but the coffee yes, taste more like chocolate with cream ( hot chocolate ).

Kinda.

I'm not sure I understand the part of your question regarding the tea.

A "latte" is an espresso based (or coffee based) drink that in its simplest form consists of 1 oz of espresso to about 5 oz of steamed milk. Since a latte is a coffee based drink, it does in fact have caffeine.

If I still haven't answered your question, I'd love more explanation about the tea.

I'd say yes.

"latte" actually means milk. Which makes "cafe latte" basically coffee milk. In the US many chain type coffee places have corrupted cafe latte and added sugar and flavors which taste good of course but are not true "latte".

I assume that a Tea Latte is tea with milk. If the tea is black by the way it also has caffeine - as much as coffee.

Peace....

It's the way the milk is prepared and the ratio of milk to coffee or tea. Starbucks has Chai lattes as well as lattes made with coffee.

a latte is espresso shots and steamed milk.
you can add syrups to it also to make it a vanilla latte, caramel latte, chai latte... etc.

tea and coffee are naturally caffeinated.

if put coffee and steamed milk its not really a latte, it would be a cafe au lait.

yes latte is a drink prepared in hot milk and froth you can only prepare latte in dark roast meaning in tea you can use black tea and in coffee with espresso

tea has caffeine
