That's a good question. I think "blue" raspberry has a slightly more sour taste than regular raspberry. Although the "blue" doesn't make any sense. Maybe it should be "sour raspberry."

From Wikipedia, "The blue raspberry flavor, originally derived from blue whitebark raspberry fruit juice, became an artificial designer product in the late 1950s. The flavor is described as somewhere between tangy and sour"

it's a marketing gimmick by evil corporate america!!!

i suppose they make it blue to make it more eye catching! still tastes yummy though!

It's a novelty thing for the fact that it doesn't exist in nature. I've had several things over the years that are blue raspberry flavored and they don't taste remotely like raspberry.

Yeah, and why are there green grapes? Grapes should be purple, just the way they look in movies about Romans, and they should taste purple too...huh???

It's not a natural flavor...why? I don't know, but it's so good!!!

Well there is a blue "flavor" for sports drinks. I believe that although it turns the raspberry blue, it also adds a "flavor" to it too.

I grow raspberries in my backyard and they have a very dark bluish tint to them! But not real-blue, blue! I think that raspberrie things are colored blue since there are so many other red things: strawberry, cherry, watermelon.
