Are the amount of sales at STARBUCKS decreasing severely?!
Answers: Does anyone know?
They say it's because they've saturated the market. They made the mistake of putting a Starbucks on every corner in ever city , practically, and THAT would water down your own business. Doesn't sound like good business sense to me... Now they're serving $1 coffee to try and compete with McDonald's...sounds pretty desperate if you ask me.
Business must be bad, they are reducing price of coffee from 4.00 to 1'00 a cup.
Im in UK and things are still damn expensive here
I am fan of their stock. The move to decrease the price of a basic cup is to compete more against the compettion on the lower end. There's a lot or money in coffee. Don't forget if you lure someone that is a new customer that doesn't drink mocha's with cheaper $1.00 coffee prices (to go after McD's) they might expand into something bigger and better where the profit margins are better like lattes. I expect them to move in the food direction any year now.
no actually in the past month starbucks products have gone up in price an average of 0.09 cents due to economy!
Well you might say in some towns. Down in the south Houston area, we get a latte for like 6.50. Tell me about sales!
Nop! UK prices are terrible.. but, I hope they do something about the calories and the fat in their Mochas.... :( used to be my favourite... not anymore.
