Strawberry, rasberry and banana

i usually make a strawberry banana one with non fat yogurt, it is so good

Throw all this into the blender - fresh berries, fresh or frozen bananas, citrus fruit (not juice), maybe some honey, maybe some flax powder, maybe a bit of wheat germ, and some plain yogurt (soy yogurt or goat/sheep/cow...whatever your preference). I don't use fat free yogurt. It tastes strange and fat isn't bad for you. Eating a ton of garbage is bad for you. There is a difference.

Blender, a banana
a couple hand fuls of frozen summer fruits
apple juice

This is my favorite smoothie!!

1cup pomegranate juice
1cup of frozen watermelon
1cup of frozen honey dew melon
1cup of frozen cantelope
1tsp of lemon juice


Combine all ingredients in a blender and pulse 20 times, then blend on low for 20-30 seconds. Makes about 2 servings. For the frozen fruit I buy fresh melon at the store, cut it up and freeze it in a "Gladware" container in the freezer. By using frozen fruit, you don't need ice and it makes a thicker smoothie.

I use a magic bullet to make smoothies, so I don't really measure anything out but here are some good combinations that I've found:

Vanilla yogurt, apple juice, frozen strawberries (cheaper and makes the smoothie thicker), kiwi, ice

Strawberry-kiwi yogurt, red crystal light (don't remember the flavor), frozen strawberries, bananna, ice

Strawberry yogurt, apple juice, frozen strawberries, kiwi, mandarin oranges, ice
