Which soda contains the most sugar?!

Question: Sky Rocket Caffeinated Syrup has 18 grams per ounce, but granted, it's a syrup. The energy drink Hype has 8.04 grams per ounce.

Out of the more common drinks, Sunkist Orange Soda leads with 4.33 g/oz, Jolt Cola has 4.00 g/oz, Rockstar Juiced (my favorite) has 3.94 g/oz.

Mountain Dew has 3.92 g/oz, Cherry Coke3.50 g/oz, Dr Pepper 3.42 g/oz, Coca-Cola Classic 3.38 g/oz, Pepsi-Cola 3.33 g/oz, and Sprite 3.25 g/oz.

See the table I listed as source. Those who said Coke or Pepsi were definitely way off. Mountain Dew was a good guess, it's probably the most sugary popular drink.

Edit: Please, people! Find some sources. Don't guess or say "I read it on the can". How many cans did you look at?

i think either pepsi or dr pibb

dr pepper

Jolt I bet

jolt

Either Mountain Dew or Coke

sprite & coke

mountain dew

coke and pepsi have the same amount of sugar in them...

Mountain Dew. WOW what a sugar high.

I think moutain dew

i think Coca Cola

if not...keep checkin the labels on the can and boxes

deff coke

Each 12-ounce can of soda pop contains between 10 and 12 teaspoons of sugar

I think sprit becuase whenever you drink it it tastes really sugary and it has this tickle and burning sensation when you just put it in your mouth...

Root beer (like A&W) tends to have a lot. Of high fructose corn syrup, anyway.

I think a can of A&W root beer has, like, 210 calories.

But Jones Soda Pure Cane Green Apple has a lot of sugar, too. It's real sugar, at least, but it's a LOT of real sugar.

If you're looking to cut calories, try something non-carbonated. Carbonation makes water more acidic, so they have to put more sugar in it to sweeten it up than if they used plain water. Try iced regular or herbal teas, tea with fruit juice mixed in, or Gatorade.

I would say Fanta..but I'm sure the others have just as much.
Go do the math. Knocking back a 20oz bottle of Fanta is the same as chowing down on around 21.5 teaspoons of sugar.

Jolt or Mt. Dew!!!!

Mountain Dew is first and second is Dr. Pepper. This is according to several studies which came out a few years back.

Here are the sweetest there are in order.

mountain dew

coke....just go and look at the back of the bottles and compare them for yourself

coke, dr.pibb, and (my opinion) rootbeer

The fizziest soda has the most carbs and calories. For example, Sprite. And the one that burns your throat a little has the most sugar, like, Dr. pepper.

I'd go with mountain dew also those energy drink, red bulls or monster

COCA COLA

I believe that mostly all regular soda (pop) contain too much sugar. You'd be better off trying the diet sodas, don't have too many in one day, 1 or 2 is enough.

dr.pepper/coca-cola/root beer(a&w)/pepsi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ALL SODA CONTAINS THE SAME AMOUNT OF SUGAR SO IT CANT BE TOO MUCH SUGAR

I say mountain dew,the rest are about the same.

i would say pepsi. (that i know of so far) because it contains about 3 tablespoons of sugar per regular sized can
