How much water do you put in with the coffee?!

Question: Is the little scooper the same size for every brand?

Answers: Is the little scooper the same size for every brand?

usually it's around the same size as a tablespoon, i generally put in one scoop (tablespoon) for every two cups of water...

It depends on how much coffee you're making. They have measurements on the labels.

Well for most brands it is the same, one scoop per one cup of water. For whole bean coffee we use 1.5 scoops per one cup of water.

so much that the cups over flow

all regular coffee, not expressos

I put one tablespoon of coffee per cup of water.

I think different brands differ.

1 scoop for 2 cups of water is my preference. The little scooper is about the same for every brand, about an 1/8 of a cup.

no water just pure caffine.

It depends on your taste, as a good starting point fill a paper filter like 1/4th of the way full, then make a full pot of coffee with that.

a heaping teaspoon of coffee per cup of water. i think they are usually the same size, see how many teaspoons fit in it.

Usually the scoops are a standard size. You put one scoop for one cup of water. So if you are making a full pot with 12 cups then you would put 12 scoops of coffee in. Some people like their coffee stronger and some like theirs weaker. After a few times you will figure out what is best for your taste. Enjoy!

It should be the same size scooper for all of them. For what I consider a regular pot of coffee......not strong, not weak.......I put 5 scoopes of coffee for a full pot. (12 cups) So that's about 2 1/2 cups of water per scoop of coffee.

You want 6 cups.....put 2 1/2 scoops of coffee, fill to 6 cups of water.

NO.
Some scoops are 1/2 tablespoon, some are 1 and some are 2.
Typically you find 1 tablespoon scoop.

Usually it depends on how the coffee is ground.

Rule of thumb for a perfect cup of coffee with "drip grind" 1 tablespoon coffee per cup.

The coarser the coffee grind the faster water will go through and the weaker it will taste(using a regular home brewer)...the finer the grind...the stronger and more bitter.

The proper ratio of coffee to water is two tablespoons per 6 fluid ounces of water

I wouldn't know anymore! I'm hooked on Nespresso for a while now and let the machine do the work for me..

1 cup
