I was wondering how much does it cost to open a Starbucks?!

Question: A store like Starbucks, if they did offer franchises, would cost upwards of $1M. This wouldn't include all of your operating expenses, nor franchise fees.

They are too expensive to franchise. Maybe that is why they don't do it any more.

They no longer allow individuals to start up a Starbucks. You can call their home offices, but they will tell you the same thing. They are now only starting new Starbucks inside other places, or with people who are already on the payroll.
