Will a spoon make a cup of coffee coller?!

Question: A spoon in a cup of coffee acts like a radiator in a car. The metal in the spoon conducts heat from the coffee, up the handle of the spoon (assuming you are talking about a metal spoon), and out into the surrounding air.

This will transfer the heat of the coffee into the air at a rate proportional to the surface area of the spoon handle.

Will it? Sure it will, but it will probably be undetectable to anyone!

Depends on what the spoon has on it.... for instance, if it has an ice cube on it, sure, but if has a grais of sugur, then, no, probably not.

A cold spoon in winter will make the coffee cooler by a small amount.....but a cold cup has a much bigger effect.

Always warm the cup beforehand, especially if you are adding milk or cream to your coffee.

I would say probally not,and if it did by a little would it matter. cause you would not notice.
