How much coffee do I use in an 8 cup press?!

Question: i have an 8 cup press and would like to know how much coffee to use. I have found directions that say to use 7.5 to 8.25 grams to every 4 cups, but I don't have a scale. Anyone know the measurements in tsp tbsp

I use one well rounded tablespoon of coarsely ground coffee per four ounces of water.

I use 4 flat scoops that came with the press, probably about the same as 4 well rounded tablespoons. I like it quite strong and use freshly ground coffee which makes a difference too,
