Answers: I'm trying to ask a question with multiple purposes but I couldn't get the wording right. so I decide to ask multiple questions. here they are
1.I was looking for something different to put in my coffee.
2. what is a cheap yet good way to have a coffee bar in my house equipment and all. {this is one of the things I've always wanted and my hole reason for asking these questions}.

1. Flavored Syrups are a good way to change the flavor of your coffee, (note: flavor extracts are NOT a good way to add flavor to coffee. I prefer plain coffee, but sometimes a little ground cinnamon is good
2. unfortunetly there is no "good" and "cheap" espresso machine on the market. I beleive that someone already said anything under $100 is useless, and their right... unless you find a great deal on e-bay.. this is my favorite home machine http://www.amazon.com/FrancisFrancis-X3-...
looks great and makes great coffee.
admitedly this is a pricy machine, but like I said there is no good machine for less than a couple hundred bucks.
3. as I said I don't like flavored coffee generally, but I have tried some things in the past worth a shot for you.
Add a slice of lemon peal to a shot of espresso, or a cup of dark coffee.
In the south they add Chicory which is basically a weed that grows almost anywhere down here.
I had someone tell me to add salt to the grounds before its brewed to take away the bitterness. (still haven't tried this one)
When I was working at starbucks we used to make what we called "superchargers" some people call them a cuban dopio - put a packet of sugar in the raw in the bottom of the esspresso portafilter put in the coffee grounds, and brew normally when it is finished add just enough milk to allow you to shoot it ( we started this on the opening shift new years day... didn't sleep for 2 days).
1. try flavored syrups
2. try finding a restaraunt suppy store in your area
3. sometimes nothing if I really want the flavor of the bean I am drinking
1. Caramel sauce (from a squeeze bottle - from the section w/ ice cream toppings)
2. They do sell machines that make expresso and frothy milk for you... for a couple hundred. If you are looking for more than that, I'm not sure.
3. Just milk.
The following is my daily routine. I like to take my own coffee to work because I usually don't like regular coffee with just milk and sugar. I'm an expresso fan.
Here's my routine:
1. I buy Starbucks expresso. You can use a cheaper brand, such as Folgers, but I just LOOOOVE Starbucks.
2. I use a regular coffee maker. I have an expresso maker, but it doesn't brew enough coffee for me. I make the expresso stronger in the coffee maker by using more coffee than it would normally call for.
3. I take a coffee cup, with equal amounts of milk and expresso or coffee.
4. I love caramel macchiatos, so I keep vanilla syrup, caramel sauce and Raw Sugar on hand. I use Raw Sugar (the kind they have at Starbucks but you can buy it at Walmart) because you don't have to use as much of it and somehow, I think it tastes better.
5. To make the macchiato, I use about a tbsp. of vanilla syrup, 2 or 3 tbsp of caramel and sugar to taste.
You can also make a vanilla latte by just using vanilla syrup or a mocha by using chocolate sauce, etc.
That's how I get by because there isn't a Starbucks where I live. I hope this helps. :)
Torani Flavored Syrup
buy from the second hand shop there are alot of espresso machine up fo sale at a very cheap price.
choco syrup or vanilla powder or ice cream
I use Stevia as a sweetener and coffee cream to give the coffee a smooth taste.
If I want a flavored coffee, I add a dash or two of cinnamon or nutmeg to the coffee grounds before brewing.
I use a French Press because I think it's far better than any other coffee making system that I've ever tried.
Get a cheap stove-top espresso pot.
Your own coffee grinder (about $20) would be good, too, but not necessary.
Most of those cheap coffee/cappucino/espresso machines (<$100) aren't worth even that much. I bought two - one didn't work at all and the other broke on the second pot.
Try adding shaved chocolate, whipped cream, a 1/2 shot of whiskey, brandy or Yukon Jack in your coffee!
