Answers: mine: 1 tbspn cocoa
1-2 tbspns sugar
dash of salt

add enough milk to make a syrup and stir over low flame. When sugar is fully dissolved add enough milk to make 1 -1/2 cups.

garnish with vanilla or cinimon if desiered.

3/4 cup powdered milk
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup cocoa powder
4 ounces bittersweet chocolate

Combine all the dry ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Take the bittersweet chocolate and roughly chop it up to give a chunky but consistent size. Mix well with a wooden spoon and then store in a dry airtight container. To make the hot chocolate, simply add 1 cup of water per 1/2 cup of hot cocoa mix. Heat in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring with a whisk. Heat until hot, but do not boil, about 6 to 7 minutes.

------------------

2 tablespoons sugar
2 to 3 tablespoons HERSHEY'S Cocoa
Dash salt
1 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Mix sugar, cocoa and salt in large mug. Heat milk in microwave at HIGH (100%) 1-1/2 minutes or until hot. Gradually add hot milk to cocoa mixture in mug, stirring until well blended. Stir in vanilla.

I just made some but I don't put salt in mine.

1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup Baking Cocoa
4 cups milk, divided use
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 whipped cream or miniature marshmallows (optional)
Combine sugar and cocoa in medium saucepan; stir. Gradually stir in 1/3 cup milk to make a smooth paste; stir in remaining milk.
Warm over medium heat, stirring constantly, until hot (do not boil). Remove from heat; stir in vanilla extract. Top with whipped cream or marshmallows, if desired, before serving.
Makes 4 servings.

There is a recipe on the Hershey's Cocoa can, for hot cocoa, that my Mom used to make for us once in awhile, instead of using regular milk, she would use canned evaporated milk. This was the best EVER.
