I tried it(because of all the hype), and I didn't like it. I'm willing to spend more money on better coffee.
Blechh. I have to agree with you there. O_O I hate Dunkin Donuts coffee. It doesn't even taste like milk water and sugar to me. More like...dried rabbit poop pellets ground up into a cup.

I do NOT like their coffee - YUK! I don't like someone to put the splenda OR cream in my coffee I want to do that myself! How do they know how much I like???? I don't care for their donuts either.

I like it just fine. Its very smooth.
I love Dunkin Donuts coffee. It is not bitter like Star Bucks and it feel like it is eating the lining out of my stomach like Star Bucks.

maybe i'm crazy but I have found that some Dunkin Donuts have ok coffee and some are exactly what you said. I don't get it...maybe it depends on the water in that particular area. I prefer my own.
