Is Vernors (soda) a national thing or only a Michigan thing?!

Grew up in Westland MI, been in GA since 22 (13 yrs) and CANNOT get it here. I only get it in MI and as soon as I pull into the state or fly in it is one of the things I buy ASAP. That and Better Made Hot Chips. Cannot get them here either. AND, dude, Greektown, Pegasus, OMG I crave it. And coneys, we dont have them here. And Mexican Fiesta, holy crap I want a Botona right now soooo bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not so sure. I think I may have seen it and i have never been to Michigan so it was not there.
I can buy it here, in Arizona. It's like the blueberry ginger ale. It's not super, hep-cat popular, but it's available.
well, it is most dense here in michigan b/c it started here. but it's other midwestern states. and western NY.

It's national but I've seen it in Michigan (mostly) and Arizona.
It's mostly a mid-west thing. I could find it in my local grocery store in Kansas City. I love it....Can you send me some?
I live in Washington, grew up in Michigan. If they live in the seattle area, Central Market in Shoreline and Poulsbo both carry it.
I grew up on the stuff, and it's a novelty here- there is a bit of a cult calling for it, but mostly from other transplanted michiganders.
I believe it's sold here in Mi and only other select states.

We get it here in Louisville. It is nice for a change. My husband buys it alot. I am not sure how popular it is all around the state, but it is always in stock at our Kroger.
Well I have been drinking it here in Canada, specifically Ontario since I was a lad in the 1960's, we even used to get draught Vernors here, the one distributor used to bring up gallons of the syrup based and draw it like beer.
I used to get it in Alberta and B.C, it is a regular item in all our grocery store, even a diet version, we used to get in when I was young in nice glass bottles, it was my late father's favorite.
yes Vernors soda is popular anywhere in the country, I live in Maryland and they have it also wikipedia says that it is dristibuted nationally.

Its a big hit and miss. Some areas have it others don't. Sucks if you get sick out of state... nothing is better if you're gonna puke...
