Does anyone know of a good, naturally decaffeinated tea?!

Question: There are many teas out there that are decaffeinated with Methylene Chloride. These seem to give me a headache. Any advice? Thanks!

You should look for teas that are decaffeinated with CO2. I found some sites with some.

Actually, Lipton has some great ones. They are naturally decaffinated.

Herbal teas have no caffeine. No need to decaffeinate - they don't have it to start with.

Try some roiboos tea. It's completely decaf, but looks and tastes like a spicy black tea.

Greetings,

Congratulations on paying attention to your body's sensitivity to the chemicals!

If you prefer to stay away from commercial pre-packaged teas. Try going to a health food store or somewhere like Whole Foods, they sell dried tea leaves and flowers in bulk. They also sell a type of spoon that has drainage holes in it that allow you to take the leaves and/or flowers and make your own tea.

Some good ones to try are hibiscus
also known in Mexican shops as "Flora de Jamaica"
Flower of Jamaica.

Hibiscus is a rich red flower that naturally grows in some parts of the Caribbean and Africa. It tastes great with a pinch of sugar or honey. You can have as a hot or cold tea.
This tea is good at lowering blood pressure so it's not advisable to drink many cups within a week.

Lemon tea is great.
You just take a couple of pieces of lemon peel and squeeze some of the juice into the hot water and add honey. You can even spice it up and add fresh sprigs of mint leaves. Lemon is good cleanser.

Contrary to popular belief tea can be made from many natural leaves, herbs, spices, fruits and barks.
It is not limited to the commercial stuff that's in a box.

Enjoy!

STASH makes great tea. Their decaf raspberry tea is great. Check out their web site. They also make Earl Grey decaf, as well as many others!

Red Bush is caffeine free!
